What is Live Video Call Verification?
Live video call verification is a way to prove to Google that your business is real and operates at the location you claim. Instead of waiting for a postcard or recording and submitting a video yourself, you'll connect with a Google support representative in real-time who will verify your business through a live video call via Google Meet.
Before You Request Live Video Call Verification
IMPORTANT: Make sure you're ready before starting your live video call! You need to have certain things prepared.
Critical Requirements
Before requesting your live video call, ensure you have:
Exterior signage displaying your business name that matches your Google Business Profile exactly
Business documents (license, utility bills, lease agreement, etc.) that show your business name and physical address matching what's listed on your profile
A device that supports live video calls (smartphone, tablet, or computer with camera) - the call will be conducted through Google Meet
Stable internet connection for the video call
Google Meet access - Make sure you can access Google Meet on your device (it works through web browsers or the Google Meet app)
If your signage or documents don't match your Google Business Profile name and address, update them first! Google will check these during your video call, and mismatches will cause your verification to fail.
