Your Photos vs. Customer Photos

You can only delete photos that you've uploaded. Photos added by customers or Google cannot be deleted by you directly, but they can be reported.

Reporting Inappropriate Customer Photos

If a customer has uploaded an inappropriate or inaccurate photo:

  • Select "Report photo" from the options

  • Choose the reason for reporting (inappropriate, not related to your business, etc.)

  • Submit your report for Google's review

Processing Time: Photo deletions usually take effect immediately, but sometimes may take 24-48 hours to disappear completely from your profile.

Best Practices for Business Photos

Instead of just removing photos, consider:

  • Regularly uploading high-quality photos that showcase your services

  • Adding photos of your team in action (with appropriate permission)

  • Highlighting completed projects that demonstrate your quality work

  • Maintaining a mix of exterior, interior, and service/product photos

Good photos of your handyman services can significantly increase customer interest and trust in your business.
